It has been a productive month for us last November!
We implemented a couple of feature updates and fixes with Easelly’s infographic maker. We also did a major revamp of our existing customer support system.
Update 1: Introducing the New Pictogram Feature
Have you ever wondered if there’s a better way to simplify and highlight the percentages and ratios in your infographic without the ubiquitous pie chart?

Update 2: Out with the Old, In with the New ( with Fonts, That Is)
So what is it about infographics that appeal to us?
Many experts believe it’s the scale (or order) of fonts. Our eyes are attracted to objects that have a precise “order” and are not displayed like traditional, generic fonts. We also enjoy using fonts that have a bit of personality yet readable at the same time.
Last month, we did some research into how many fonts we actually need to add in our infographic maker tool, and what were the best ones for readability, accessibility, and style.
We added 20 new fonts and removed the 40 fonts styles (yes all of them!) that we initially supported. Out with the old, in with the new!
Update 3: New templates for infographics for business
We also added a new set of infographic templates — 30 to be exact! These templates are perfect for users who want to create infographics for business, whether it’s for marketing or internal communications.
Mini-update: Better Customer Support!
We’re using a new, fresh (plus points for Gryffindor if you can figure out this Easter egg that will give away the name of our new system) customer support system to serve our users better!
