The stars that form here are called Protostars and they can turn into two kindsof stars: An average star or a massive star. An average star has a lowmass so it doesn't have a "short" lifespan compared to the Massive star. These stars have hydrogen which is basically what keeps the star burning and iluminated. As millions of years pass, the hydrogen that once occupied the star turns into helium. This causes the stars nuclear star in the center to stop and turn the outer layers of the suns hydrogen into oxygen as well. Because of this reaction the star will start to expand and will make as much as 10000 more light than it did before. This leads to the stars death. The Star will explode and depending on the mass of the star it could have 3 different outcomes. A white dwarf is the outcome when a low mass star dies . A cloud of gas is given off the dead star and the dwarf is all that's left. When a high mass star dies it could either end up as a neutron star which is smaller than a white dwarf or a black hole. A black hole occurs because the gravity is so strong that the protons and neutron collapse among themselves. A high mass star contains more hydrogen so therefor it has a longer life span than a normal average sized star.
