Witness accounts of the events following the gun shots differ. Protests Continue Hundreds protest outside the Ferguson Police Department as more officers are sent in, trying to get the situation under control. Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson says that over 20 police cars were damaged and that use of tear gas was highly probable. Hundreds, even thousands, of demonstratorslined the streets chanting, "We are Michael Brown" and "No justice, no peace" and even some yelled "Kill the police." Name Released Darren Wilson is identified as the cop who shot and killed Michael Brown. The police report also shows that Brown robbed a convenience store before getting into a confrontation with Officer Wilson. The confrontation existed of Wilson telling Brown to walk on the sidewalk instead of the streets, blocking traffic. Based on the events told by Brown's friend, Dorian Johnson, Wilson grabbed Brown by the neck, pointed the gun and said, "I'll shoot." He fired many shots, even though Brown yelled, "I don't have a gun, stop shooting!" Autopsy and National Guard The Justice Department decide to take an independent autopsy of Brown's body. It will take into account of the courseof the investigation. Also,Missouri Governor Nixon orders the National Guard to be deployed into Ferguson. It is a state of emergency in Ferguson. Following the decision include riots, tear gas,and flames. The grand jury says that there was not enough probable cause to indict Wilson. Burhanuddin Rabbani, a professor, is chosenby the Mujaheedin to leadthe new country and thusis named the new president. However, the Taliban soonrises to power and publicly executes him. He joined Brown's parents in saying that all demonstrators and protesters should rally peacefully, in memory of their son. He spoke about protesting peacefully, how law enforcement officials should represent their communities, and how acting violently won't solve racial discrimination issues. Riots Thousands of people rallied across the US for the Ferguson Indictment Decision. Police used tear gas bombs at increasing crowds, while gun shots rang. Bill Proposed In the aftermath of the Brown shooting, Ferguson-inspired lawenforcement bills have been proposed. They focus on increased officer training, community relations, psychological evaluations, criminal justice, and including more rules and regulations of lethal weapons.
