Their relationship is only mocary Act 2: In this scene Benedick is tricked by his friends that Beatrice loves him. This information makes him realize that he loves her too. Act 3:Beatrice was tricked into hearing a staged conversation between Hero and Ursula. In this conversation they talk about how Benedick loves Beatice. After hearing this Beatice decides to love Benedick in return Act 4: Benedick and Beatrice finally admit there love for each other. After admitting their love for each other Beatrice asks a favor of Benedick, so Benedick to challenges Claudio for Beatrice. "I do love nothing in the world so well as you. is that not strange?" Act 5: After Hero and Claudio's reunion Benedick asks Beatrice to marry him. She says no at first, and Benedick asks why. She finally agrees out of pity and obligation. Benedick and Beatrice agree to marry out of obligation not out of love for each other. "Do not you love me?""Troth, no, no more than reason."
