Because I'm from a Single Parent household and I know what it's like and how much my mother sacrifaces For me and I think it's time women stop sacrificing and be able to get nice stuff as well and be able to have the best for their kids Single Parent households are a higher risk of poverty 31% of the U.S have both parents . . . 53% of the U.S have only a Mother . 7% of the U.S have only a Father (Black Families) . For both Parents in the U.S its 66.9% for both parents . For Mother only its 26.5% . For Father only its 2.7% . For no parent its 3.9% (Hispanic Families)
