Created with Fabric.js 1.4.5 The Awesome Particle Theory Introduction In the particle theory they are a lot of things that connect each other like if you want to count how many particles are you can use the scientific notation that it is shorting up a long number. To thermal energy is a big part of the particle theory because with thermal energy solid can turn liquid. Scientific Notation Scientific notation is very important in the particle theory because particles they are a lot or very small groups of particles so scientific notation is to short the number to be more easier to read. Like an example is in a pizza they are 3,450,000,000,000,000 particles. For this number you need to get a number in this number lower than 10 but bigger than 1 so you get 3.45. Then you count the numbers after the decimal that are 15 so the scientific notation is 3.45 x 10^15. Another example but for a little number is like 0.0000000000000000 0231.So this is backwards so we count how many numbers they are before the decimal so they are 20 numbers so the scientific notation is 2.31 x 10^-20 Particle Theory change of state The change of state is when a state change to another state by thermal energy. I am going to do the change of state from a ice cube. First it start as a liquid. Liquid particles attraction are strong. To the vibrate and roll alot because the attraction is so strong that they don't have a lot of space to move. 10 min after the thermal starts to get less so know the particles have more attraction so it disent have alot space to move so the start to only vibrate. After another 10 min the liquid turns to solid so the attraction is more strong so it is hardly to move so particles only vibrate slowly
