My teammate Babe thought he was the big cheese today when he hit his 500th home run while playing in Cleveland. I wish the team could go to a club to celebrate but we can't because of Prohibition. My dogs sure do hurt after the big game today... and I am glad that I won't have to do much at home thanks to all of the new appliances we have installed. I've noticed a major change in the amount of people coming to our games recently! It must be from all of this new technology that we have now! Had a whoopee going to see "The Jazz Singer" last night! It was totally the cats meow and was amazing to see a movie with sound!! Heard that crossword puzzles were all the rage and finally tried one of them yesterday. I now understand how addicting they can be! Heard about the Scopes Trial on the radio today. it is being debated whether evolution can be taught in schools. Can you believe what they are teaching kids in school these days? This new "jazz" music is the berries!! I love the style of the music and Louis Armstrong is one of my new favorite performers.
