Burrhus Fredric Skinner, also known as B.F. Skinner, was born on March 20, 1904 in the town of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. As he grew up, he had a passion for creating gadgets. When he went to school at Hamilton College, he developed interest in writing and tried unsuccessfully to become a professional. After a few years of failure, he enrolled at Harvard University to study psychology.
