Beatrice: "Just, if he send me no husband, for, the which blessing I am at him upon my knees every morning and evening" (2.1.27-29). Hero: "They did entreat me to acquaint her of it, but I persuaded them, if they loved Benedick, to wish him to wrestle with affection and never to let Beatrice know of it" (3.1.35-45) Beatrice: "Is he not approved in the height of a villain that hath slandered, scorned, dishonored my kinsman?" (4.1.314-316). Benedick: "Come, come, we are friends. Let's have a dance ere we are married, that we may lighten our own hearts and our own wives' heels" (5.4.121-123).
