Created with Fabric.js 1.4.5 I'm more than a bird, I'm more than a plane, I'm more than some pretty face beside a train.I wish that I could cryFall on my kneesFind it hard to lie'Bout a home I'll never seeI focus on the painThe only thing that's real Try to kill it all awayBut I remember everythingEveryone I know goes away in the endFull of broken thoughts I cannot repairAnd the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains in the sound of silence.Beyond the door there's peace I'm sureAnd I know there will be no more tears in heaven. But I'm near the end and I ain't got the timeAnd I'm wasted and I can't find my way homeAnd I ain't done nothing wrongBut I can't find my way home. Why I picked my lyrics:I chose many different sets of lyrics so I obviously can not explain them all. Some of the lyrics that really stood out to me were "I'm not a bird, I'm not a plane, I'm not just some pretty face." The Jews living in concentration camps were treated like they were objects even though each person was different, unique, and loved by others. If I was in that situation, it would be so hard for me to know that to the Germans, I am just a number or an object. One other lyric that really stood out to me was "I ain't done nothing wrong, but I can't find my way home." The Jews were mostly all very innocent people who had never hurt the Germans in any way. The Jewish people never did anything wrong, and yet six million of them were punished so severely. It is so hard to imagine that such an extreme amount of very innocent people who do not mean any harm at all and just want to be left alone with their families, were treated so cruelly.
