Counseling is not an effective source of treatment untilafter the patient has gained some ground with medication.b.) Antipsychotic medications are primarily used for this illness. Ex. Chlorpromazine, Haloperidol.c.) If not treated, Schizophrenia will worsen and make the person who has it very unstable and dangerous. Experts think Schizophrenia is caused by a persons Genes, and Envirement. Typical antipsychotic medications can cause side effects such as,Tremors, and skin rashes. People with Schizophrenia go through a Rehabilitation stage.Where they go through special counseling. This is doneafter their statues improves.
