The battle of Princeton was a very brave and courageous battle. The battle was fought on January 3, 1777. It is said that during the battle, George Washington rode in between the battle lines opento fire. This was a great confidence booster for the Americans. In the end, the Americans ended up beating the British and gained a lot of confidence. The Americans took control of Princeton, New Jersey. As you can tell, the battle was a well-fought battle. "The British TakeSavannah and Charleston."The battle started December29, 1778, with the Britishout-numbering therebel forces 3,000to about 10,000. The British were an unstoppableforce marching around Georgia and SouthCarolina taking territoriesleft and right. Partsof Georgia were reclaimed,the same with South Carolina. The British takingSavannah andCharleston was not a good thingfor the rebel army,it made them very angryconsidering what successthey had at the Battleof Princeton.
