Before the Romans there wasnt any roads like we know today, the Roman roads are still in use today and the style of Roman roads is often used for pathing walkways etc. One of the uses for their roads was bringing items to trade with Europe, although some of the transport was done by water travel after roads were fortified they tended to use the roads more often than sea travel. double click to change this title text!
